Freelance work: building QGIS Python plugins which included PostGIS/SQL automation and a Google Earth visualization tool.

Part of the PhD project: developing PlanetServer as part of the FP7 EarthServer project. PlanetServer combines online GIS functionality (OpenLayers, MapServer, WMS, X3D) with hyperspectral data analysis functionality (using rasdaman database management system software, based on PostgreSQL).

Various GIS projects in Malawi, southern Africa.
2007 – 2010
Geologist/GIS specialist at the Geomodelling & Characterisation department of TNO/Deltares. This encompassed processing, visualisation and interpreting of:
- Dutch subsurface 1D (drill), 2D (raster) and 3D (voxel, seismic) data.
- Satellite data (visual/infrared photography, DTM, hyperspectral and ground penetrating radar) of Mars (ESA en NASA).
Using ESRI ArcGIS, Python, Access (VBA/SQL), IDL/ENVI and Petrel Seismic to Simulation Software.
